The SWIMTHEISLAND Bergeggi open water swimming event will be held, as every year, in one of the Italian regions richest in history and culture linked to the sea: Liguria.

Characterized by clear waters and rocky stretches of coastline, this region offers visitors breathtaking views and the possibility of doing sporting experiences both on the coast and inland.

SWIMTHEISLAND Bergeggi, one of the most exciting European sporting swimming events, will swim in a really interesting stretch of coast from a naturalistic point of view: the Marine Protected Area of ​​Bergeggi, a safeguarded sea area that hides a priceless heritage in its depths among underground caves and spectacular diving points including the Canalone, the Pifferaio and the Grotta Marina di Punta Predani.
Nearby it is possible to discover characteristic villages overlooking the sea that offer all the charm of an experience linked to the history and the Italian maritime tradition. During the event it is possible to stay, thanks to special agreements, in one of the villages located near the Bergeggi Marine Protected Area.

It is possible to choose the small village of Spotorno or Bergeggi, situated on a promontory right in front of the splendid island of the same name and finally Noli, a town of medieval origin elected among the most beautiful villages in Italy!
